Improving Public Services: Putting Ideas Into Action

As we all know, government employees often get a bad rap. Not only are they a frequent target for those pushing for privatization, but the valuable services they provide everyday are usually completely ignored, even during the best of times.

Well, SEIU public service workers have had enough. They're proud of the services they deliver, and are always on the lookout for ways to make them better and more efficient. And when members develop new and creative ways of helping the public and saving taxpayers money, they want to ensure that member of the media and the general public are given the opportunity to know about it.

That's why SEIU's Public Division has developed a new video featuring three different projects started by SEIU members that have done exactly that--improving the services members provide, while saving money. Check out the video below:
