Everybody who's anybody in DC knows the name Tony Podesta. He's one of the most prominent lobbyists in the city and his client list reads like a who's who of corporate greed.

While Podesta is best known as a Democratic Party insider, in reality he works with whichever party is in power. During the Bush era, he teamed up with Dan Mattoon, a heavy-hitter lobbyist for the Republican Party with close ties to Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert. Together they ran a bipartisan lobbying shop called PodestaMattoon, and even brought Hastert's son onto their payroll as a lobbyist. Podesta only split from Mattoon after the Democrats took Congress in 2006 and Hastert lost his Speakership.

From big banks like Bank of America and Wells Fargo who are foreclosing on millions of American families to BP, who owns the massive oil spill off the Gulf Coast, Tony's clients have really done a number on this country.
