Rep. Steve King's "Sixth Sense" for Spotting Undocumented Immigrants

RepSteveKing.jpgOn the House floor last week, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) gave a speech attempting to reassure his fellow congressmen why Arizona's anti-immigrant law SB1070 would not lead to racial profiling. In the very next breath, he then explained why he does believe that racial profiling is an important part of 'legitimate' law enforcement though--as long as it's not used "for the reasons of discriminating against people."

In a moment of true delusion, King then shared his own experience being racially profiled in Washington, DC.. He spoke about how taxi drivers on Capitol Hill automatically suspect he needs a ride, since he is a man wearing a suit. (Oh, the injustice!) King suggested that Arizona law enforcement officers can target illegal immigrants using similar indicators like their choice of footwear, their grooming habits and the clothes they wear.

Aside from his strict attention to detail, we think what really makes Rep. King an invaluable asset to any immigration enforcement program is his alleged "Sixth Sense" for illegal immigrants. Watch the hysterical remix video that America's Voice produced in response to King's most recent encouragement of racial profiling:
