On September 8th, SEIU is joining the Peoples Climate Movement and partners from around the world to bring tens of thousands of people from across the country into the streets to show our elected leaders that we demand action on climate change.
Working people are directly and too often disproportionately affected by the threats of air and water pollution, climate change, and extreme weather events, and more likely to be confronted with environmental and health hazards at work—and less likely to receive adequate protection from them.
Now is the time to engage and mobilize our communities for climate, jobs, and justice. To change everything, it takes everyone — and with your help we can build a sustainable world for generations to come.
