| Description: | Responsibilities and Duties: Under the supervision of the Budget Director, is part of a finance team that oversees all aspects of SEIU 1021 accounting. This manager level position is responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations and filing requirements, and coordinates the production of the legacy local's financial and accounting statements and returns; coordinates and facilitates legacy local fiscal audits; provides guidance and training; performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Training and Experience Required: -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is highly desirable. -Experience in Accounting Department Management preferred. -Hands-on experience mastering financial statements. -Experience implementing integrated accounting systems and modules is desirable. -Work experience in the labor movement or non-profit organization is desirable. -Experience in working with the Department of Labor and knowledge of government regulations and filings required by labor unions is desirable. -Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel, and ability to become proficient at other required computer programs is required. Proficiency with Great Plains a plus. REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid California driver's license, auto insurance, and an automobile for business use. Must be flexible to work beyond '9 to 5' when necessary. |

| Compensation: | SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary range $64,700- $81,700 depending on experience. Excellent benefits package provided including full medical, dental, vision insurance and paid retirement benefits. |
