SEIU and its Divided We Fail partners AARP, the Business Roundtable and the National Federation of Independent Businesses published an open letter to President-elect Barack Obama in USA Today this week, calling for comprehensive healthcare reform in the new administration's first 100 days.

"Addressing skyrocketing healthcare costs is a critical component of stabilizing household, national and global economies," stated the group, which plans a series of ads and events in coming months to encourage the new president and Congress to keep their campaign promises and solve the nation's health care crisis.
