Pride in Black History Month

"It's this moment, it's what this president has created as a possibility...the progressive movement the country needs for its revitalization is at hand. Barack cannot, by himself, make this change - and that change will not come easy. It will come because millions of us will be on the street putting force behind his demand for change and making it happen," said SEIU Vice President Gerry Hudson at the kick-off of SEIU's 12th annual celebration of Black History Month at SEIU's headquarters earlier this month.
