When my daughter needed hearing aids to be able to perform in school and lead a normal life, my insurance company refused to cover it. I was forced to withdraw funds from my 401-K and suffer a large penalty. And I have insurance! The uninsured and underinsured people of this state are forced to make decisions like this every day, this just isn't acceptable. We need better options..
