HAARM: Takin' It To The Streets

They're back.

This weekend, the same groups that organized anti-Obama "tea parties" around the country are putting together another round of July 4th tea parties. This time, killing health care reform is at the top of their agenda.

Naturally, HAARM wanted to get in on the fun. Check out the video of HAARM's anti-health care reform protest: www.haarm.org

Just like HAARM's protest, the tea parties this weekend are funded by the deep pockets of special interest groups who have a financial stake in keeping our broken health care system the way it is.

But, just like HAARM, most people don't support these groups' radical agenda. In fact, a recent poll shows that 76% of Americans support the option of a public health insurance plan - a key component of President Obama's plan.

Groups like HAARM that are trying to torpedo President Obama's health care plan are on the very fringes of the political landscape; they don't speak for us. Will you make sure Congress understands that?

Tell Congress you're one of the millions of Americans supporting Obama's plan for health care reform: http://action.seiu.org/page/speakout/haarmspeakout

Thanks to the movement you've helped build, Americans are in overwhelming support of President Obama's plan to fix health care. We are in the majority - let's make sure we sound like it.
