SEIU President Andy Stern appeared on MSNBC's The Ed Show last night to discuss health insurance reform and the politics in play in Washington. In the interview, Andy said, "In the end, it's time to take a vote. Leadership is just about making choices....The President says he wants a public option. The House is going to vote for a public option. Where are these Senators? Let em' take a vote."

When asked what the Senate should do if delay occurs in the Senate Finance Committee, Andy responded, "September 15th [the Senate Finance Committee] they said they were gonna start marking up the bill, that's it. Put it on the floor, let the Finance Committee vote, take it to the Senate."
