Throughout 2008 and 2009, SEIU worked closely on the Manifest Hope exhibits in Denver at the Democratic National Convention, and at the historic Obama Inauguration activities in Washington, D.C. This year, we're proud to have collaborated with Evolutionary Media Group and 12 of the artists who participated in Manifest Hope exhibits to produce a 2010 Social Justice Calendar.
The work of these artists fosters an inspiring visual call to action, and magnifies the culture, passions and desires of union members across the country. Below is a preview of all 12 months of the calendar out now, featuring snapshots of the contributions by artists Derek Gores, JK Keller and Keetra Dean Dixon, Aaron Allen, Gene Mackles, Robyn Sand Anderson, Esperanza Macias, Shawn Hazen, Melanie Reim, Justin Kemerling, Michael Murphy, Christopher LaVoie and Robbie Conal:

2010 Calendars Still Available
If you like what you see here, you're in luck...because we still have some 2010 Social Justice Calendars available. So if you'd like to get your hands on one, all you have to do is email michelle.miller@seiu.org. The cost is $7.00 (unless you are an SEIU member, in which case...they're free!)
The SEIU Social Justice calendar is an ongoing project of SEIU's Popular Media Organizing Program, our union's initiative to connect popular culture and the labor movement in compelling, unpredictable and exciting ways.
