Change takes Calls

in advance of this Sunday's "Change Takes Courage" immigration reform rally - SEIU launched a 48 hour campaign to put calls into the Senate. We're reminding them that our members and supporters are coming to DC to demand forward movement on legislation this year.

Dear Friend,

Getting comprehensive immigration reform back on Congress' agenda comes down to this Sunday.

Tens of thousands of people will come to Washington DC to attend the "March for America: Change Takes Courage" immigration reform rally.  But you don't have to be in Washington DC to get your senators' attention, all you have to do is pick up your phone.

Over the next 48 hours we'll be calling the Senate to let them know that they need to find the courage to get to work on immigration reform this year.

Can you call your senators right now and urge them to support comprehensive immigration reform this year?

48 Hours of Change Takes Calls

The choice is clear.

We can do nothing, and watch as families are torn apart by the broken immigration system; watch as profiteers continue to take advantage of people desperate for work; and watch as all American families struggle to find good jobs and make ends meet.

Or we can raise the stakes. We can stand up for our families and our communities and call for smart, bold immigration solutions that restore fairness and strengthen our economy.

If we all do our part, I am convinced that we can win: because we're right; because we are stronger together; and because it is the right thing to do-- for immigrants and for America.

Call your senators right now and urge them to support comprehensive immigration reform this year and help us raise the stakes.
