On Sunday, SEIU Exec. Vice President Eliseo Medina spoke to the people of Arizona to support them in their fight against Senate Bill 1070. This bill was signed into law on Friday by Governor Jan Brewer and allows police to use racial profiling based on the suspicion of being an undocumented immigrant.

Show the people of Arizona that they are not alone and that you support them in their fight against SB 1070 by watching the video below and taking action.

It's disappointing that Governor Brewer and Arizona Republicans have shown that they don't care about basic American values like fairness and civil rights. Instead, they only care about taking cheap shots and pandering to their political base.

If we don't stand up and support the people of Arizona right now, it's just a matter of time before racial profiling of anyone "suspected" of being undocumented becomes a law in your state.

It's time for the Senate and the President to act to stop more states from falling down the slippery slope of extremism and divisiveness.
