The watchdogs over at Media Matters couldn't help but notice that the Senate GOP has been getting some - to put it delicately - bad PR over their opposition to Wall Street reform.

They put together a sampling from hundreds of newspaper front pages via the Newseum's website that have a common theme. Here are just a few:

But this is more than just an image problem for the GOP, it's a reality problem. The reality is, Republicans in Congress have been carrying the water for Wall Street every step of the way. Now that we finally have a Wall Street reform bill before the Senate, we get to see each and every Senator's true colors; are they with us or Wall Street?

Wall Street does its talking through high powered lobbyists and multi-million dollar campaign contributions. We do our talking by picking up the phone and holding elected officials accountable to us, their constituents.
