Why are governors sitting on the sidelines?

postcardWe just learned that state governors are considering a trip to Washington, DC this week to demand Congress reintroduce the jobs bill. This is great news - and one final opportunity to stop disastrous cuts in your state.

Send the governor of your state to Washington, DC.

So far, your governor has been sitting on the sidelines instead of traveling to DC. It's unacceptable for our governors to remain silent while Congress siphons millions from our state economy.

If Congress fails to act, nearly every state will be in a full blown fiscal crisis. Now is the time for governors - both Republican and Democratic - to stand up for the hardworking people of their state.

If Republican and Democratic governors travel to Washington, Congress will be under serious pressure to save this funding. Let's make it happen - send your governor to DC now.
