On Wednesday, SEIU President Mary Kay Henry addressed the crisis that workers face and the real causes of the national deficit in her testimony before the President's National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform.

Acknowledging that the deficit is a serious long-term problem and that we need to develop a plan to address it, Mary Kay stated "our first priority as a nation must be putting Americans back to work." Read her testimony here.
