A presidential candidate that boasts about handing out pink slips? #default

On Monday, leading contender for the Republican nomination Mitt Romney was speaking to corporate activists at the New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce when he said, "I like being able to fire people."

Even other Republicans describe him as having made his fortune "looting" companies, then firing workers in droves. So when Mitt Romney says he likes firing people, it sounds like he means it.

At a time when many of our friends and neighbors are out of work, you'd think anyone running for President of the United States would want to talk about hiring people rather than crushing the dreams of hardworking families.

Not Mitt Romney!

Perhaps we shouldn't expect more from the man who thinks "corporations are people"... Regardless, comments such as further remind us just how out of touch Romney is with lower and middle class Americans.

So ask yourselves: Do you want someone who brags about firing people to be your next president?

We don't.

And we're going to fight back. We're going to fight for job creation and for economic justice. Most of all, we're going to fight to make sure that politicians like him aren't given the chance to make decisions for us in the years to come.
