Michigan is on the right track, but Governor Rick Snyder's failed leadership may have taken the state of Michigan off course. As President Obama said in his remarks at the Detroit Diesel plant in Redford, Michigan yesterday, "What they're really talking about is giving you the right to work for less."
Today, thousands of workers from Michigan and across the nation are gathering to participate in a Day of Action at the State Capitol Building in Lansing, Michigan and we're covering all the action live on our Storify feed below.
We can't allow what happened in Wisconsin to happen in Michigan. There's no time to wait. The livelihood of Michigan workers and their families is depending on it. We need Governor Snyder and his Republican interest puppet masters to know that we strongly oppose any right-to-work-for-less legislation in Michigan.
You can be a part of the action, too! We're covering the Day of Action live from Lansing. Check out photos, videos and legislative updates on our Storify feed below. If you're on Twitter, use the hashtag #savemi to join the conversation.
