WASHINGTON, DC – After New Hampshire Republicans voted for presidential candidate Donald Trump in the primary election, the Service Employees International Union’s (SEIU) Executive Vice President Rocio Saenz issued the following statement:
“Trump’s win and his extremist rhetoric ring loudly from New Hampshire, stirring millions of voters into action against him and every GOP presidential candidate who continues to mirror his hate against working families and immigrant communities. Tonight, the families who make up the emerging electorate of diverse Americans – from Latino and Afro-Caribbean to Asian and Muslim Americans – are more determined and more motivated to vote in November. 'Believe us': Trump will not silence us."
