Whereas, the members of the Nurse Alliance of SEIU Healthcare, who represent 85,000 registered nurses in 23 states, send our support and solidarity to our union brother and sister nurses in Minneapolis. We stand with you in your struggle for quality patient care and respect for caregivers.

Whereas, the Twin Cities Hospitals must accept responsibility for quality of patient care and dignity for caregivers.

Whereas, hospital CEOs need to take these responsibilities seriously.

Whereas, hospital CEO's using threats and scare tactics instead of sitting across the table negotiating a fair contract are irresponsible in their duty to society and the community.

Therefore, be it resolved, the Nurse Alliance of SEIU Healthcare stand in solidarity with the Minnesota Nurses Association in their pursuit of a fair contract so they can continue to provide the care that their patients deserve.
