Change That Works engages Nebraskans around two critical issues, health care reform and giving workers a stronger voice in their workplace.

For too long, health care has been out of reach for families leaving too many of us without coverage or with coverage that simply does not pay for our families' health care needs.

In work places across Nebraska, employees want a voice in their future. Our workplaces have been out of balance with corporate greed taking over at the cost of jobs, pension plans and our nation's economy. We think its time to level the playing field and make the economy work for everyone--not just the very rich or the very poor.

As our campaign progresses in Nebraska, Change That Works will call upon Nebraskans to hold house meetings, to write letters to our elected officials, to get their voices heard in our newspapers and blogs and to help us educate all of our friends at churches, clubs, schools and workplaces.

We are even going to make some apple pies for our elected officials and deliver them with letters telling our health care and workplace stories because we believe good paying jobs and affordable healthcare are American as apple pie!
