LEFT BLUE TAB LEFT YELLOW TAB RIGHT PINK TAB

That’s what some want you to believe. Last summer, Congress passed an impractical bill that has already come under fire (for the reasons below) from state and local leaders, business people, border agents, and border residents across the political spectrum.

  • 40% of undocumented immigrants enter our country legally but overstay their visas
  • Migrants will just go through, over, or under to find jobs in the U.S.
  • It fails to deal with the 12 million undocumented immigrants already here
  • 21st century border security has advanced past fence building
  • Roads will have to be built to the fence, actually aiding migrants into the U.S.

Living Up to Our Heritage

When we as Americans live up to our heritage as a nation of immigrants, all of our citizens benefit. We need immigration laws that:

  • Establish an earned path to citizenship for hardworking, taxpaying immigrants
  • Create smart and secure borders
  • Set scalable immigration limits
  • Penalize employers who exploit undocumented workers
  • Reunite families

New Hope for Real Reform

This past election, voters sent a strong message to opponents of comprehensive reform by defeating some of the loudest voices for enforcement-only legislation. We’re hopeful this new Congress will work together to enact a comprehensive solution. Stay tuned.
