More than 200 join sit-in at PEPCO headquarters in DC

more than 200 District of Columbia residents joined a sit-in at PEPCO headquarters today and demanded a meeting with the utility company's CEO Joe Rigby. The protesters, faced with poor service from the "Worst in the Nation" utility, were fueled by PEPCO's recent $42.5 million rate hike request and its executives' obscene compensation.

Day 2: Taking Back the People's House

Day 2 of Take Back The Capitol saw more than 3,000 activists from dozens of states fan out to congressional offices to remind members of Congress that the Capitol is the People's House--and demand that they represent the 99%. 99er's demanded their Representatives focus on creating jobs, visiting more than 95 Senate offices in total by the close of business today.
