Constituents stand up to anti-worker politicians in FL, IA, MA, PA and WI

All across the country, workers are partnering with other Americans - the 99%- to hold anti-worker politicians accountable. Check out some of the recent actions that have taken place in Iowa, Florida, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Nearly 1,000 Arrested On Bridges Over Joblesness

On November 17th, nearly 1,000 people were arrested as more than 50,000 protestors at three dozen bridges nationwide declared an "Economic Emergency for the 99%." Rallies and marches accompanied these bridge actions across more than 20 states, including AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, IA, IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MT, NH, NM, NY, OH, PA, TX, VA, WA and WI. Meanwhile, a Few Thousand Blocks Off Wall Street

The Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement, affiliates of National People's Action, are bringing hundreds of taxpayers together in Des Moines, IA to stand up to Wells Fargo, one of the banks that has ravaged Iowans with hidden fees and rampant foreclosures. Taxpayers are headed to Wells Fargo's Des Moines office with a simple message: use the billions of dollars you've set aside for bonuses to fill the budget gaps that are hurting families in Iowa and across the country.
