SEIU members across the country joined immigration activists in a day of protests and actions in response to the alarming numbers of children separated from their immigrant families at the US/Mexican border and the thousands of children who have been harmed by President Trump's immigration agencies. They demanded that President Trump’s administration immediately halt the practice of separating immigrant children and youth from their families and to investigate and account for the allegations of abuse to children in immigration custody.
