As cash-strapped school districts in states across the country turn to some of their lowest-paid employees to bear the weight of budget cuts, workers are not taking the cuts lying down. On Saturday, Mary Kay Henry joined janitors to speak out about the fight for good jobs in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. MNPS custodians are standing up for all hard working families in Nashville by calling for employers to be responsible and treat workers with dignity and respect.
