Green Janitor

The Green Janitor program offers a certification for janitors from the U.S. Green Building Council- Los Angeles with a 30 hour on-the-job curriculum addressing energy and water efficiency, waste management, and worker health and safety. SEIU partnered training organizations have worked with building owners, janitorial contractors, SEIU Locals, and the USGBC to train over 1,800 janitors in California with Building Skills Partnership and over 180 in the last year in a growing number of states with SEIU Education & Support Fund.
