Pope Francis’ visit to the United States will bring our core issues to the forefront. Working people are struggling in an economy that’s out of balance; our immigration system is broken; our criminal justice system is plagued by systemic racism; and the effects of climate change are increasingly obvious.

This is a unique moment in America, as the attention of millions will be drawn into conversations about of economic, immigrant, racial and climate justice when they are highlighted during the papal visit.
